Susana Supnet Kjellsen brings over 25 years of real estate experience owning, selling and presently managing income and vacation rental properties throughout California, Nevada and the Midwest. Her diverse employment history includes the position of vice president/sales of Golden West Technical Services (now Barrett Business Services), a privately held staffing firm. Her top producer ranking for several years contributed to the company’s achievement of its Inc. 500 status and recognition as the fastest growing staffing company in Silicon Valley. She also worked as a sales executive for TAD Temporary Services/Adecco prior to putting her career on hold to raise her son.
Susana also worked in the public sector with the County of Santa Clara Juvenile Probation Dept., City of Sunnyvale Employment Development Dept. and Project Intercept, a government funded program providing employment, education and counseling services. After taking a break to raise her son, she moved to a new career in real estate sales.
Susana is a native Californian. She was born in Stockton and raised in Morgan Hill and San Martin where she currently resides with her husband, son and two pet cats, Tonga and Tahiti. Her parents farmed strawberries while she was growing up. She attended Live Oak High School, Gavilan, San Jose City, De Anza Jr. Colleges and San Jose State University. She received her undergraduate degree in Administration of Justice specializing in Corrections and Psychology. In addition, she received her Master of Social Work degree with an emphasis in Administration and holds a lifetime community college counseling credential. She received her real estate license in July of 2010.
Susana enjoys the outdoors, gardening, photography, genealogy, music, movies, volunteer work, spending time with family, friends and pets. She is a fan of the Giants, Sharks, 49ers & Warriors. Some of her favorite activities include, golfing, disc golfing, traveling and trips to scenic Napa Valley, Pacific Grove, Monterey, South Lake Tahoe and Hawaii.
